Going, Going,...


Gordon Brown resigned as British Prime Minister earlier this evening, ending 13 years of the "New Labour" experiment.

This picture shows Mr. Brown making his resignation speech in front a phalanx of camera-men (or perhaps, more correctly in these sensitive times, camera-persons). Phalanx being a macabrely appropriate word, for the scene has the look of a man in front of a firing squad.
